Test run and brake in

Now test run. I bought the diesel fuel for break in from Tiny craft.
Weaver was mounted on the test bench with ８＊４prop made by Graupner.
After about 15minutes of trial and error of twisting needle valve and tommy bar, I could hear the sound of the first explosion.
After clanking several times Weaver ran for an instant.
Then I tried to run again, but crankshaft round without piston' s movement.
Mmmmm. Conrods made by duralmin was broken.。

I have already made another conrod from leaded steel prepared for the instance like this.
Next day I tried again.

It ran!!!!

Next is 4cycle hit and miss engine.
