2021-3-5 crank case again

全体の進行具合を見ようと思い、組んでみることにしました。
ところが、です。なんとクランクシャフトとコンロッドを組み付けてしまうと、これらがクランクケース内に納められません。
クランクシャフトだけなら組み込めますが今度はコンロッドを組み付けられません。
色々試みましたがどうしてもだめ。
作りなおしを決意しました。

I tried to assemble the crankshaft and connecting rod into the crank case.
But I could not set them in the crank case.
I tried again and again, but it was impossible.
I decided to make another one.

コンロッドを組み付けたクランクシャフトとクランクケースです。
何となく入りそうな気もしたのですが・・・

It seemed to be OK, but.

一部削ってもみましたがどうやっても入りません。

I cut some part but.

眺めていても仕方ないので作りなおします。

Looking at them made no solution, so I make another one.

はじめました。

Started

シリンダー中央での二分割タイプです。
緑矢印は位置決めピンです。

This one is divided at the center line of cylinder.
Green arrow show the positioning pin.

はじめに外形切削用のガイド穴などすべての穴をあけてしまいます。

First I drilled all hole including guide hole.

内側の切削を済ませました。

Turning the inner side.

色々な作業をするにあたり、センターファインダーは大活躍しました。

直角出しもこんな形でやりました。

二分割のケースを固定するためのM4ネジの頭の座繰りをしています。

Counter boring

治具（みどり矢印）に固定してシリンダー面の切削をします。
22.5度傾いて治具に固定されています。

Mill the cylinder surface on the 22.5 degree slanted fixture

反対側のシリンダー面の切削が終わりました。
このままシリンダーが入る部分のボーリングをするつもりでしたがフライスのz軸可動距離が短すぎてボーリングヘッドがセットできませんでした。

Two cylinder surface were completed.
I was going to bore the cylinder hole, but the Z distance of the milling machine is too short for setting the boring head.

仕方ないので旋盤にセットしてボーリングします。

I set it on the lathe with jig.

2か所ボーリングが終わりました。

固定ボルト用ねじ穴が一部露出してしまいました。
M3で固定するはずがM4に変更したり、CAD上でのシリンダースカート部の記載間違いなどが重なりこんな事態が起きました。
